Since I tend to be a monogamous knitter with a modest stash, I don't often have things push to the front of the queue, but I recently picked up a sweater that had been stalled for months and in two evenings finished the seaming. I still have approximately 47,000 ends to weave in and a neckband to knit, but I'm feeling this sudden determination out of nowhere to get it finished so that it stops taking up mental space. Then I'll be able to start something new, guilt-free.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09755898719830543536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8843130514951400882.post-81197873822580419132018-01-30T07:01:08.619-08:002018-01-30T07:01:08.619-08:00Oh my gosh, that came out so good! As for conceptual projects, I've seen a whole bunch of neat ones from designer Woolly Thoughts on Ravelry, many of which are inspired by mathematical and scientific principles.Caitlynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05252532446979150096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8843130514951400882.post-12001896826784902122018-01-14T20:23:06.674-08:002018-01-14T20:23:06.674-08:00Thank you! I've always lived in moderately temperate climates and right now I'm in Wellington, New Zealand, where a cold day in winter is about 6-10 degrees C in the middle of the day and a hot day in summer is 18 - 25. I think it is 27 today and that is fairly unusual. Wind is where we excel in extremes. But I can pretty much wear the same work clothes year round if I really want to.Lyndlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02074439380587418342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8843130514951400882.post-69738062782567881702018-01-12T00:18:07.047-08:002018-01-12T00:18:07.047-08:00Haha I put it up because of you!
